Picture of Tammy in Haiti

Tammy Babcock, Founder/Director

Meet Tammy... a 32 year old humanitarian who took it upon herself to make this world a better place for those less fortunate.

Born and raised in rural Ontario near the city of Kingston, Tammy has traveled the world over to countries like Japan, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Thailand and most recently, several trips to Cité Soleil in Haiti.

In 2004, when the Boxing Day Tsunami claimed the lives of more than 350,000 people - Tammy found herself on a plane to Thailand, where she aided in rebuilding homes for survivors of the catastrophic event.

When she first set foot in Haiti in Spring of 2008, Tammy was beside herself to learn first-hand of the conditions which the people lived under.

Since that trip - Tammy now returns to Cité Soleil every two-months - spending her days and nights cleaning and taping wounds, treating people for scabies, ring & tape worm and other parasites - and arranging the safe transportation of trucks to deliver clean drinking water to the people of Cité Soleil.

Tammy's goal is simple - to build the infrastucture required to allow these people a simple, sustainable means to life... clean water and access to medical care.
