HOW WE WORK
We work one-on-one with the very people receiving your assistance.Unlike traditional larger NGOs and charities that absorb sometimes very large percentages of your donation to cover administrative costs - we put all donated money and supplies directly to the front line - in person!
Help Tammy Help Haiti is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors. We have no staff and no part of your donation will go towards administration, travel or living expenses while in the field - these are paid directly out of the Director's pockets.
While we are physically in Cité Soleil, we walk the streets - through the good, the bad and even through the worse... meeting the citizens of Cité Soleil and getting to know them as human beings. This approach allows us to forge ever-lasting trust and relationships with the people we're helping.
Our liason, Robinson, lives in Cité Soleil and keeps us up-to-date on activites and developments while we cannot be present in the city.
